In this episode, we speak with James (gba finance) about his experience and philosophy on finance. James is a licensed, insured financial advisor with over thirty-five years of practice. He has also written books, articles, and is a frequent contributor to the financial media.

James is a renowned financial advisor from Boston, MA. He’s a licensed, insured financial advisor with over thirty-five years of practice. He has also written books, articles, and is a frequent contributor to the financial media.

I’ve read his book, The 7 Essential Financial Rules, which is one of the first books on business I read. In it, James goes through the 7 rules in a systematic fashion and covers the whole spectrum of topics that we often talk about in the financial world. He covers topics like the importance of diversification, how to be financially prepared, how to keep a positive attitude, and how to avoid bad habits and emotional eating.

His advice for people that want to start a business, or run a company, is really to have a good balance of financial knowledge and experience. He also includes a section on how to avoid emotional eating, which I haven’t read myself, but which I would assume is a big part of the reason we can’t stop eating. If you want to start a business, or run a company, you’ll want to read this book.
